Problem: The purpose (problem) of this research program was to explore new and emerging technologies that can be applied to the Opal Connect [and other platforms] and offer a true frictionless ticketing experience to transport customers in NSW across multiple modes.
How I Helped: Partnered with La Trobe university on a research program to develop frictionless payment solution options for TfNSW. Conducted extensive market research into technology and consumer expectations, preferences and design and presented findings.
Benefit: Customers can travel freely between different modes transport without having to physically pay. This supports travellers with physical disabilities.
